The Yorubas are a people imbued with great intellectual skills as well as technological wherewithal, such that the D.R.Y seeks always to have the very best of social infrastructure in place, throughout Yorubaland, based especially on indigenous technology.

The position of the D.R.Y on the issue of technology, however, is that technology will never be used in a way or at a level such that it reduces or poses a threat to our humanity. In this wise, therefore, technology shall not replace humanity in those areas or in such ways as to bring an annihilation of our emotional and psychological fulfilment as human beings and especially as Indigenous Yoruba People.
