A certain Ibrahim Adeyemi, on X handle, @ibrahim_adey , who himself appeared to be quoting copiously from another X handle, @HumAngle_ , has been put under surveillance by the Indigenous Yoruba People of the Democratic Republic of the Yoruba, and is hereby seriously warned, with regards to his post on his X handle on the 23rd of April, 2024.

Ibrahim Adeyemi, who claims to be a journalist, made claims and statements in his X handle on the said date, including retweets of @HumAngle_ posts, which amount to Treason against the Sovereignty of the Democratic Republic of the Yoruba and the Sovereign Government of the D.R.Y

IBRAHIM ADEYEMI, TREASON SUSPECT IN DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF THE YORUBA

In the first place, Ibrahim Adeyemi, from his posts and retweets, insinuated that Chief (Mrs.) Modupe Onitiri-Abiola is a “factional” leader of what he describes as “separatist” group of Yoruba nation agitators.

It is annoyingly surprising that a self-acclaimed journalist like him does not consider it important or necessary to cross-check facts before going public with his series of tweets and retweets on X.

One basic thing runs through his amateurish tweets and retweets, and that is the fact that he claims that the so-called “separatist” group, whom he also described as secessionists, say that the independence declaration of the Yoruba nation is authentic with the United Nations.

As a journalist that he claims to be, did he try to cross-check with the United Nations if there is any document(s) before the global body as to the Yoruba people and Yorubaland being independent from Nigeria, or to the effect that they had successfully declared their Independence and documented same with the United Nations?

That, alone, if verified, would have given substance to whatever he was trying to achieve with his imbecilic tweet.

Ibrahim Adeyemi, let this be known to you today, that, on the 20th Day of November, 2022, the Declaration of Independence of the Sovereign Independent Yoruba Nation was done and the same was subsequently submitted to the United Nations, based on the Right to Self Determination, the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, the Rights of Ethnic Nationalities, and the Rights of Sovereign Peoples.

DANGER WAKANA IS NOT MILK – D.R.Y WARNS!

All that the people you described as “separatist” and “secessionists” and whom you addressed with other ignoble language, all that they claimed to be and to have done, making reference to the United Nations, could easily have been cross-checked by you, being a journalist! Or, are you incapable of getting across to the United Nations? Are you scared that you might find the claims of those you described in your tweet as secessionists, are you scared that you might find their claims to be true, after all, if you tried to cross-check with the United Nations?

We shall not bother to try and convince you that you made wrong claims and insinuations, as well as insults, too, in your tweets; rather, sufficient is this one thing that we have against you: you claimed in your tweets and retweets that the people you call “secessionists” claim to have some United Nations reference to their claims. On that, alone, we shall take you up: Did you cross-check with the United Nations?

Rather, you simply went ahead in your utter illiteracy to run your mouth against the operatives of the Democratic Republic of the Yoruba, and against Chief (Mrs.) Modupe Onitiri-Abiola! Yet, you claim to be a journalist! Which school of journalism did you attend? Your certificate/license should be withdrawn!

Having said that, now listen to this, Ibrahim Adeyemi. By your said tweets and retweets, you have placed yourself on the line for trial in a case of Treason against the legitimate government and Sovereignty of the Democratic Republic of the Yoruba.
