Constitution & Law
Safety of life and property is paramount in the Democratic Republic of the Yoruba. As a result of this, the law is tailored to ensure a level playing field where no one is oppressed, regardless of gender, age or status in life. This law is what the justice system is tailored to protect. The Democratic Republic of the Yoruba is that country where you can speak up if your rights seem threatened and you can by yourself follow the procedure of redress, where that is required, to the point of ensuring that you get the deserved justice, even if you have to get it against an offending judicial officer.

The Democratic Republic of the Yoruba is a place where safety is of such importance that the design, physical, procedural and psychological, is that any person, male or female, young or old, can, if he or she has the physical strength for it, take a walk from Lagos to Lokoja in the dead of the night and not have to look over his or her shoulders.

LEGISLATION AND REGULATION

The public life of the people of the Democratic Republic of the Yoruba is based upon truth and justice. This is established on the appropriate legislation to that effect, and which legislation is supported by the relevant regulation of public life and conduct. This is to ensure safety of the Yoruba populace and of the Democratic Republic of the Yoruba.

Regulations are expected to be adhered to, and nobody is spared when infringed upon, as the D.R.Y intends at all times to maintain a level playing field for all Yorubas in Yorubaland as well as all residents thereof.
